Sometimes we believe that the children are “too small” or “too young” to help us or even to care about themselves. The opposite is the truth. Young children are (more often than not), the best helpers and love looking after their environment, others and themselves. The sooner they start with practicing real-life activities, the faster they master practical life skills.
There’s always something about toddlers and long flights that is daunting – not just as a parent but also as a fellow passenger. The first thing I learned as a mom was my child gets cranky when he is hungry or when he is tired. And as parents, we all usually know what triggers irritation in our child. But it’s important to figure out how best to be prepared for it during a long flight.
Probably every parent has wanted to visit a place where they can have fun with kids, without worrying and being anxious about how their children will behave there. And a pottery cafe is definitely not on their list. But here’s a chance to blend creativity and kids.
The tiny city of Karlštejn which shelters the castle of the same name is located about 30 kilometers away from Prague. And this makes it really convenient for a day trip with the whole family!
