Where: Malostranska Prague 1, in front of the U černého vola inn
Details: Masopust is the traditional masked carnival in the backdrop of Malá Strana and Hradčany. Hundreds of people participate in the parade with live music and masks every year. The procession starts in front of the U Černého vola inn in Loretánská street and goes through Mala Strana all the way to Kampa. You can take a break from wearing masks in various inns, restaurants and pubs in Nerudov, Thunovská streets, Malostranské náměstí, Mostecka and, of course, TG Masaryk in front of the Castle.
Along the way, the brass band from Mladá Boleslav and the Bruncvík Boys’ Choir will play. Sometime between 15 – 16 hours the processions will arrive at Kampa, where there will be a traditional carnival party with live music.
