Letní Letná – the festival of new circus, theater, music, and visual arts will take place as usual in Letenské sady from 12 to 31 August.

The main festival town with circus tents and refreshments can be found in Letenské sady . After last year’s light version, the 18th year of the Letní Letná festival brings again a busy program full of foreign stars of the new circus. The festival will be opened by the rope walker Johanne Humblet, who will take one risk after another on the Open Air stage high above the spectators’ heads and repeatedly overcome herself. The new circus film noir will be brought by the main star of the festival, the Cirque Le Roux ensemble. This year the festival will be completely dominated by French ensembles – Acrobats Compagnie 100Issues, Cirque La Compagnie, Cirque Le Roux.

The Summer Summer program this year also has many surprises, including the best of the Czech new circus scene. The organizers want to make up for last year’s light-year visitors to the festival and are still negotiating with other ensembles from the Czech Republic and abroad and working on a rich accompanying program for children and adults.
