Starting March 19 everyone in the Czech Republic is obliged to wear a mask outside of the house.
You will now have to wear a mask everywhere except your home, car or work if there is no one else around. The mask can be substituted with a scarf. Most importantly, your mouth and nose must be covered.
There will be police in the streets checking if people are following the rules. In case they will see someone without a mask, they will give a warning. A fine for not following the rule after a warning is up to 10 000 CZK.
Another rule coming in force March 19 is shop visits for elderly. At 10:00-12:00 hours shops, drug stores and pharmacies will only allow elderly people in.
