The first Christmas market of the Christmas season in Prague is usually started at the Náměstí Míru or Peace square usually around the last week of November. This market is also usually the first to close on December 24 each year. The Christmas Market on the Old town square will open in the first week of December and closes in the first week of January 2024. All other markets around the city are also opened around the same time.
The Namesti Miru Christmas market offers more handmade goods than the touristy products sold in the Old Town Square market . Here, you can find goods such as handmade soaps, lotions, jewellery, toys, christmas ornaments, candy, gingerbread, ceramic decorations, crystals, scarves and so on.
