Czech Railway Transportation Company operates every year nostalgic lines to various locations. This gives families with kids a unique opportunity to try to travel by steam locomotives. These trains will be run in Prague and in Central Bohemia.
On September 15 and 16, 2018 the Fairytale steam train will be running to Jiřín (the town of fairy tales) – the track of retro train – Praha-Vršovice – Praha hl. n. – Český Brod – Nymburk-město – Jičín – Libuň – Turnov;
On September 15, 2018, is the Prague Railway day: Prague Smíchov and Prague Uhříněves – celebrations of Prague Railway Day, exhibitions of both modern and retro trains, the great programme at railway stations Praha-Smíchov a Praha-Uhříněves. The tracks of steam and modern trains – Praha-Smíchov – Praha Praha Vršovice – Praha-Hostivař/Praha hl. n.;
