Did you know that Rugby Touch is the fastest growing sport in the Czech Republic? And do you know what it entails? Unlike regular rugby, in Touch Rugby players have very minimal physical contact among one another, there is no tackling and kicking whatsoever. The focus in touch rugby is on running, passing and catching. Participants need to learn how to communicate between one another and to be good team players. These characteristics make Touch Rugby a safer sport than regular rugby. Touch Rugby teams are divided into different age groups and are mixed – boys and girls.

Rugby Club Tatra Smichov
When: Tuesdays and Thursdays
Where: Podbělohorská, 150 00 Praha
Age group: 6-19 years old
Rugby Club Tatra Smichov, being the biggest rugby club in the Czech Republic, has about 500 members and more than half of them are children. The club provides regular training sessions with an experienced coach.
Please, note that in order to be a member of the club, your child needs to pass a medical examination which costs approximately 1.600 CZK.
