Where: Gymnázium DUHOVKA, Ortenovo náměstí 34, Praha 7, 170 00.Details: The Puppet and Marionette Theatre Camp is suitable for children aged 5 – 15 years old. During the camp, kids will be taught how to create characters, devise a story, and perform to family and friends. The camp is led by Sofia Sous, who is a Portuguese actress and puppeteer now based in Prague. She studied acting for stage in Cascais Professional School of Theatre in Portugal and puppet making in the Horse and Bamboo Theatre in England.
Here is what you can expect from the camp:
Monday: visit to Prague Puppet Museum and a workshop for making gloves puppet
Tuesday: distribution of the characters for the show, improvisation exploring the voice; making the character for the show
Wednesday: workshop for puppet making, finalizing the character for the show; visit to HOP Arena, Čestlice.
Thursday: workshops
Friday: workshop final rehearsal and final performance for family and friends
Admission fee: 4250 CZK per child per week (5% discount for siblings & friends)
