On Saturday, September 4, the Prague 6 city administration invites everyone to watch the opera “Rusalka” by Antonín Dvořák in the open air. The performance will take place in the Divoká Šarka park on the site of the former nature theater.
The production of the Original Musical Theater (Originální hudební divadlo Praha) will feature soloists, an orchestra, choir and ballet from the National Theater in Prague.
Beginning at 14:00. The opera lasts three hours. Free admission. Viewers are advised to take blankets and rugs with them, as they will have to sit on the grass.
The event will commemorate the day when Prague 6 came into being. It is on the 180th anniversary of the birth of Antonín Dvořák.
