This is an exhibition project by Czech painter Andrei Schmidt living in France, which is dedicated to gingerbread. The artist is an enthusiastic promoter of folk crafts, which are a great inspiration for her. She was particularly interested in gingerbread making, due to its history and completely unique features that she acquired in the Czech lands and this inspired her to create an artistic rendering of the gingerbread story. The exhibition also presents unique exhibits of gingerbread moulds from the collections of the Prague City Museum. The exhibition includes an interactive gingerbread workshop, a gingerbread house for children and a number of accompanying programs.
