Christmas is always magical! Streets, homes, malls and stores are all done up and glitzy blitz! Every year the malls in Prague ‘dress up’ beautifully for Christmas. No, am not talking about the stores in the malls. Malls usually have an interesting décor, like a great photo station, or a beautiful Christmas concept to go with the spirit of the season. Well, this year the malls display some interesting or unique ideas that welcome guests!
Novy Smichov
This year, Novy Smichov, Andel has a big red-haired, flying Angel. She looks blissful while flying among shiny cloud and stars and can be best viewed from the first floor of the mall outside the C and A store. The sheer size of the Angel makes it worth a pic! Children love her a lot.
OC Chodov
OC Chodov has a cool interactive Christmas tree on floor 0. There is a beautiful golden sleigh set up for guests as a photo point. Which is lovely! But that’s not all. There is a camera in from tog you and a tiny button on the side of the sleigh. When you hit the button with a smile, the camera captures your image which is displayed on a circular screen on a beautifully decorated Christmas tree above! It’s a great hit among guests, especially kids.
Arkady, Pankrac
Arkady this year is all done up in gold. And a whole bunch of polar bears and penguins, welcome guests in the mall. You can see them on level 0 at the water fountain. Interestingly it complements the ice rink outside. There are also fluffy polar bears upstairs, where you can hold hands with them and take pictures. Kids definitely get a chance for a warm hug! Overall the warm gold is offset by the cool Bear deco.
