Details: Another enjoyable event connected to books during the month of April is Čapkové dětem, organized by The Čapek Brothers Society. The motivation behind this event is the 90th anniversary of Talking about a Dog and a Cat by Josef Čapek. Cheerful stories, less-known narratives and lively narration will be guaranteed.
The reading of the children’s books will be presented in the form of a performance directed by Alena Pěknáve in cooperation with Tomáš Blatný and musical accompaniment by Jiří Pešička. Performers will be students of Charles University and DAMU, as well as from Gymnasium of Jiří Guth-Jarkovský.
