Details: Book World Prague is an annual International Book Fair and Literary Festival, which is going to be held for the 25th time this year. It is the largest book and literary event in the Czech Republic and each year it gathers thousands of representatives from over 20 countries and regions all over the world. The event encompasses numerous exhibitions, programs, performances, and additionally, it attracts a large number of visitors. Last year they exceeded 46,000!

This year the event promises to be even more interesting. The topic is Memory and Reminiscence. Apart from the usual participants, Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Mexico, Peru, and other Latin American states will be honorary guests. They will be represented by writers such as Bernardo Carvalho, Álvaro Enrigue, David Unger and many more. Mario Vargas Llosa, who is one of the most prominent contemporary writers not only in the Latin American region, and who received the Nobel Prize for Literature in 2010, will be attending the event as well.

In addition to all events, workshops and activities visitors will be able to see Kafka Band with their new album “America”, performing for the first time on May 11, 20:00 – 23:00 hours.

One-day ticket for children aged 6-18, students, ZTP ID holders, senior citizens, May 19-12: 60 CZK
