Details: One of the legends in the history of domestic automobile sport was the ” 1000 miles of Czechoslovak ” race, organized by the Autoclub of the Czechoslovak Republic in 1933, 1934 and 1935. It was a speed race of the cars on the most important domestic road route Prague – Kolín – Německý Brod – Jihlava – Meziříčí – Brno – Břeclav – Bratislava, with the participants going from Prague to Bratislava and back to Prague without interruption twice. In total, almost 1600 kilometres of sharp ride without rest. The history of the famous race and modern commemorative rides will be recognised in a smaller exhibition that will be open to the public at the National Technical Museum’s traffic exhibition from November 6, 2018, to March 10, 2019 .
