We are all aware that every country possesses its own background and historical figures which had an impact on that place. In Czech Republic, Saint Vavřinec, the holy patron of the cathedral church, made an important contribution. To honour him, there is a celebration in the form of St. Vavřince Petřín Fair which is traditionally conducted each year. The event, including the pilgrimage, will be held on Petřín hill in the cathedral of St. Vavřince. (The orienteer: opposite to the Petřín Mirror Maze). The festive service will start at 11:00 by the Bishop Pavel B. Stránský.
In addition, after the worship, the visitors will have the possibility to participate in a commemorated tour throughout the church and enjoy their time with theatre, music, children’s games, and other interesting entertainment.
