The Pruhonice park is a natural park of an impressive size, which was founded in 1885 and is currently home to 1,600 species of local and exotic plants. The park is a National Heritage Site and UNESCO World Heritage Site. Upon your visit, you will see original garden landscapes, ponds and streams, rocky parts and spacious valleys. All in all, the park is a unique place to spend some time in the nature, as the plants in the park have been specifically selected and grown for many years.
In the park you will also find a beautiful castle dating back to the 19th century, which is a combination of Romanesque and Neo Renaissance style. Both on the inside and on the outside, you will find unique engravings, sculptures, wooden panels, spacious and beautifully-furnished rooms, a courtyard and a balcony. Both the park and the Castle are not to be missed!
