“Biophilia” = “love of life” is the name for a connection between humans and plants. Spending some time around nature can be a calming and relaxing experience for you and your kids.

It’s lovely to take a nice walk on a warm spring day, and Prague’s botanical garden is a beautiful option. The garden hosts numerous festive and educative events. During summer, an impressive plethora of 300 species and cultivars of perennial and annual plants are in blossom in the central bed.

Visitors can access an outside exposition,  Fata Morgana greenhouse and the historic St Claire’s vineyard. It’s a great place for kids to learn about varieties of flora from different parts of the world like Turkey or Australia. There is also a very interesting Japanese garden and a beautiful peony meadow.
