Perníková Chaloupka, Pardubice

For all those who yet believe in fairy tales, Pardubice’s very own Gingerbread Museum is indeed worth a visit. The museum itself is a hunting lodge from the olden days and is created as a ‘Hansel and Gretel Witch House’, designed to attract children.

The quaint museum is complete with a witch’s cage, kitchen, bedroom and a cauldron! Visitors can walk through the tiny witch’s cottage that leads through the various rooms, to the gingerbread making workshop and finally to the gingerbread exhibits. There is a tiny cafe that sells pastries and coffee. The area surrounding the cottage is beautiful like an enchanted forest and leads to a clearing of logs where kids can walk around.
Perníková chaloupka, Pardubice is located at a drive of about one and a half hours from Prague (130 km appx). Is is also easily accessible via train from Halvni Nadrazi in Prague.

Opening Hours: The museum is open on all weekends and public holidays from 9:00 to 17:00 hours. In July and August, the museum is closed only on Mondays. For further details check source. https://www.pernikova-chaloupka.cz/tema/tema.phtml?id=9938&lng=2
