Mummies have always intrigued all children and now, here’s the chance for kids to learn about them first hand and even see a real mummy! The Mummy World exhibition at Holešovice, Praha (Mumie Světa) presents mummies and artifacts borrowed from museums, universities, scientific organizations and private collections from all over the world. The exhibition is divided into individual galleries where mummies that were found in one area at the same time are exhibited. A visit here feels like a trip on a time machine taking you through different time periods from around the world.
Families can look through ancient Egypt, the medieval civilization of the Incas in Peru, the natural tribes of South America, Netherlands, Hungary and Scotland.
